Zazie

Breed: Toy Poodle

Age: 5 – Age is just a number

Meet Zazie — a tiny pup with a huge heart and an even bigger mission!

Zazie, beloved mascot of Eastern Panhandle Indivisible, is entering the Berkeley County Pride WV Mascot Contest—hoping to make history as the first dog to represent multiple organizations.

At just 5 years old and 5 pounds, Zazie is a gentle, joyful presence wherever she goes. She’s a familiar face at meetings, demonstrations, and community gatherings, often tucked quietly in her mom’s pouch, happily soaking in the people she adores most.

She also holds a special place in her heart for Berkeley County Pride WV, proudly attending Pride events across Jefferson, Berkeley, and Morgan counties for years—bringing calm, comfort, and smiles along the way.

Zazie even had a moment in the spotlight on MSNBC’s _Rachel Maddow Show_ in March 2025 during coverage involving Governor Patrick Morrisey and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

But her real gift is simple: spreading joy, easing tension, and making people smile.

A tiny dog. A big heart. A whole lot of love.

Vote for Zazie! Go Zazie!

Maeby Cheese Richards

Breed: Miniature Wiener

Age: 4 months

Maeby is a fun loving dog! She loves to go outside and chase her tennis ball around the yard. When she is inside you can find her playing with her toys or annoying her cat brother and sister! She thinks her cat brother’s scratch pad is very tasty! She loves to take her puppy naps. Always on her back feet straight up in the air! She is so cute it cancels out all of the bad puppy behavior! She loves walks and being able to bark at all the geese by the pond. Maeby is the best and she’s very cute!

Omaha

Breed: Morkie (Maltese + Yorkshire Terrier Mix)

Age: 7

Hi, I’m Omaha, a classy, sassy little gentleman who still hasn’t aged a bit! I’m always rocking my bow ties and living life like every day is a celebration. I’ve got the zoomies down to an art form, love going on adventures, and I’ve perfected the art of judging my humans with my big, expressive eyes.

Special Talents:

– Dancing on my hind legs like there’s no tomorrow

– Recognizing the FaceTime ringtone (because obviously everyone on the screen is there for ME)

– Watching TV like a pro — especially Bluey

Favorite Things:
My ducky (my absolute favorite!), taking naps, car adventure

Teddy

Breed: Bernese Mountain Dog

Age: 4 months

Teddy is a super friendly little boy who loves to be around people. He loves to play with my granddaughter. You can find Teddy either playing outside or laying in front of the fan.

He was born December 7, 2025, and is currently 40 lbs. He is going to be a BIG dog! Teddy is a doofus as most Bernese Mountain Dogs are. He loves to gaze into your eyes and share his love. He loves his stuffed octopus and keeps it near in his crate. One look at Teddy and you will fall in love!!

Pig

Breed: French Bulldog

Age: 7 months

Pig is his name, he is a French Bulldog and is 7 months old.

Pig is the life of the party and we feel he’d make an excellent mascot for pride. He is all about equal rights and love for all. Pig is always smiling and looking to be the center of attention, definitely loves all eyes on him. Pig enjoys shopping for new fits and toys, rolling like a barrel down a hill with his stuffed lion & tiger, Jeep rides with the top down so he gets all the waves, and cuddling on the couch for movies and snuggles. His adorable piglet snort laugh will have anyone busting at the seems w/laughter. He is truly just a joy, and we think he’d rock this & bring joy to all!
